PEF Volunteers Unite to Support Altadena Arts Magnet’s New Campus

Last week volunteers from the Pasadena Educational Foundation came together to assist Altadena Arts Magnet in setting up their new classrooms at the Allendale campus. This effort was part of a broader community response to support schools affected by the Eaton Fire.

The volunteers worked closely with teachers and staff to ensure that the new classrooms were ready for students. Their help was invaluable in creating a welcoming and functional learning environment, which was crucial for maintaining educational continuity despite the challenges posed by the fire.

By coming together to support Altadena Arts Magnet, these volunteers demonstrated the community’s commitment to education and its resilience in the face of adversity. Ensuring that students had a safe, warm place to continue their learning when they returned for their first day back to school following the fire, their contributions helped make the transition to the new, temporary campus as smooth as possible.

Special thanks to our Response Volunteers! Together we are PUSD Proud and we will rise.
