School is out for summer, and we are here to fill your summer with creativity, exploration, and discovery!

While we won’t be able to be physically together, we are bringing some of your favorite summer teachers to you. We will have a new website with lessons for grades PreK-12 in a variety of fun subjects like robotics, cooking, visual art, dance, yoga, and more.

Video lessons will be available to watch at anytime and will have lesson plans to download, too!

Registration is not required and participation is free.

Each week—beginning Monday, June 8—we will share new hands-on video lessons, summer learning tips, volunteer opportunities, and links to partner resources through our Summer Times Newsletter.

This is the 17th year of our Summer Enrichment Program, and we are excited to continue to provide you and your family with fun and engaging summer learning opportunities.

A Summer Enrichment Program Message

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the current shelter-in-place order, we unfortunately will not be able to hold our traditional, in-person Summer Enrichment Program this year. With your important feedback and that of our teachers, we looked at every possible option to transform the program into another format that would meet yours and your child’s summer needs. After much deliberation, we have decided we are unable to make such a program work. Therefore, I share with you a message I never imagined having to share: we are cancelling the 2020 PEF Summer Enrichment Program.

Refunds will be issued in full for all registered students. We anticipate this process taking at least 2 weeks to complete. Refunds will be issued in the same method of payment, and in the same amounts (payment plans will post multiple refunds of those amounts).

“Our family has participated in PEF two years in a row now.
The teachers are top notch and work really hard to make it fun and engaging.”

Kindergarten – 1st Grade

All elementary sites host the self-contained Introduction to Kindergarten and Introduction to First Grade classes for incoming Kindergarten and first grade students (K-1). These classes are a fun introduction to school and a great way for young learners to stay engaged over the summer. Classes will run the full 3 blocks from 8-12pm with one teacher.

Grades 2-8

For students grades 2-8, there is a variety of fun-filled learning and enrichment opportunities. Students chose 3 blocks of classes.

Grades 9-12

We are working on some new and wonderful classes for high schoolers for this summer. Check back again or sign up for email to see what’s new. High schoolers have a number of prep classes to choose from that prepare student for college.
