Students in our 5-week program are inspired while having fun learning as their classes prepare them for the upcoming school year. Keep your children’s minds and bodies active during the summer with great classes that build skills while keeping the school break fun. On average, students lose about two months of grade level equivalency in math and reading. Courses are taught by some of the finest educators in the Pasadena area with multi-subject credentials or professional expertise.
Whether it be science, theater, math, sports, literature, engineering, art, dance, or design the PEF Summer Enrichment Program offers a mix of classes to meet every student’s needs.
“Our family has participated in PEF two years in a row now.
The teachers are top notch and work really hard to make it fun and engaging.”
Kindergarten – 1st Grade
All elementary sites host the self-contained Introduction to Kindergarten and Introduction to First Grade classes for incoming Kindergarten and first grade students (K-1). These classes are a fun introduction to school and a great way for young learners to stay engaged over the summer. Classes will run the full 3 blocks from 8-12pm with one teacher.
Grades 2-8
For students grades 2-8, there is a variety of fun-filled learning and enrichment opportunities. Students chose 3 blocks of classes.
Grades 9-12

What They Are Saying
Coming Back!
“Absolutely coming back. I love having a morning-only program for the kids, where they can learn, but have a choice of fun, different interesting classes and the new afternoon option is fantastic for us working parents.”Sharon L.So Much Fun!
“She has so much fun and it keeps her brain working over the summer. We love the mix of fun and academic skill building, that they get to try three different things rather than a single focus, and the whole program is offered at a great price. Absolutely will come again next year.”James K.The mix of classes is exciting!
My daughter gets bored during the summer and there were so many fun options. She's already planning what classes she would like to take next year.”Marianne V.
