Thanks to You BBQ for PUSD District & Warehouse Staff on Tuesday, Nov. 16
Come volunteer alongside Superintendent McDonald as he grills up his famous Jamaican Jerk Chicken for district staff. Help us offer thanks to those who are the backbone for all things PUSD by serving up a great meal and a great time!
PUSD Staff COVID Booster Clinic – Tuesday, Nov. 16
This clinic will run alongside our Thanks to You BBQ… let’s hear it for Boosters & BBQ! Help PUSD Health Services by volunteering in the observation area and directing clinic traffic flow.
Feed PUSD Families – Tuesday, Nov. 16 & Wednesday, 17
Pay it forward this Thanksgiving season by joining our monthly produce preparation and distribution! Prep is at the PUSD Warehouse and distribution takes place at the following schools: Altadena, Eliot, and Webster. These events directly address food insecurity in our community.
Pediatric COVID Vaccination Clinics – Monday – Wednesday, Nov. 22 – 24
PUSD is partnering with Pasadena Public Health to administer pediatric COVID vaccines over Thanksgiving Break at the McKinley Elementary School gym. Children ages 5 – 11 will receive their first dose of vaccine and will follow up with a second dose over Winter Break. When these students return to school in the new year, they will be fully immunized!
End of Thanksgiving Break COVID Testing Clinic – Saturday, Nov. 27
Before students return to campus, testing is needed. PUSD Health Services will hold a COVID testing clinic at PUSD HQ on Saturday, Nov. 27 from 9 AM – 1 PM. Volunteer to keep staff and children safe following all the family holiday fun.
Teacher Grants Parade – Wednesday, Dec. 1
Come celebrate our teacher grant recipients at our drive-through parade. Cheer on PUSD teachers as they receive their awards. These grants directly improve classroom experiences for our students!
And finally, encourage the love of reading by volunteering at the PUSD Warehouse. The warehouse has just received a shipment of over 5,000 books that need to be scanned and organized for school delivery.
