PFAR Hosts PUSD Realtors Table Talk

Recently, the Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors hosted a PUSD Realtors Table Talk: “Education in COVID-19.” As part of PFAR’s expanding PUSD initiative, the conversation featured Helen Chan Hill, director, Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Development at PUSD and Dr. Jennifer Miyake-Trapp, assistant professor of Education, Graduate School of Education and Psychology at Pepperdine University and PEF Board Member. The goal of the discussion was to continue the real estate community’s involvement and understanding of the District’s vast plan to address its diverse education program in the current climate. “The real estate community is uniquely positioned as ambassadors for our region, and therefore its schools,” said Helen Chan Hill. PEF recognizes the enormously important role realtors play in influencing the community’s view of our public schools and works collaboratively with area realtors, Pasadena Education Network (PEN), and the PUSD to provide opportunities for realtors to learn more and get further connected to our schools. We have partnered with the Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors to expand our outreach to realtors through PUSD Realtor Certification courses and hosting virtual workshops and roundtables.
