During the first part of the month, Pasadena Educational Foundation put out an SOS for volunteer help.
We needed to assemble welcome packs for Pasadena Unified School District teachers. The district warehouse required additional workers to get books labeled and boxed for delivery to students as quickly as possible. And COVID vaccination/testing clinics needed assistance with greeting patients and directing clinic flow.
Many stepped up. Such dedicated support does not go unnoticed. Pasadena Educational Foundation depends on the good will of our community members to to support our public schools especially in times like these.
