Summer Enrichment Program 2026 Kicks Off a Summer of Fun and Learning

PEF welcomed 1,000 students on the first day of its 23rd Annual Summer Enrichment Program! Hosted across four campuses, Madison, Norma Coombs, Sierra Madre Elementary, and Sierra Madre Middle School, the program offers students from TK through 12th grade a summer filled with learning, exploration, creativity, and fun.

This year’s program features more than 50 classes spanning art, science, music, sports, math, language arts, and dual language learning in Spanish. Students can dive into exciting new offerings such as Mock Trial, Time Traveler’s Workshop, Wizarding World of STEAM, and All About Prehistoric Animals, alongside returning favorites including BizMatics, Robotics, Stitches and Threads, Tennis Fun-damentals, Garden to Table Cooking, Lab Rats, and many more.

More than 100 Youth Leaders from local high schools are volunteering this summer as mentors and role models. Working alongside teachers and staff, they gain valuable leadership and workplace experience while helping younger students discover new interests, build confidence, and develop a love of learning. Through the program, Youth Leaders strengthen skills that support their college, career, and personal growth.

The five-week Summer Enrichment Program runs from June 15 through July 16, 2026, providing thousands of hours of engaging educational and enrichment experiences for students across the community. For more information, visit www.pefsummer.org.
