Cindy retired after 30 years of leadership positions with ARCO/BP and devotes her time to community service. At age 25 she created Big Sisters of Los Angeles. 45 years later, Big Sisters (now known as) Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles serves1000 “high risk” children throughout LA County each year. Her non-profit work has included memberships and Board roles in over 15 organizations. Currently she serves on the Boards of the Pasadena Executive Roundtable, the Caltech Y, Los Altos Auxiliary for Sycamores and the Pasadena Showcase House of Design for the Arts and on the Advisory Board of Leadership Pasadena. She graduated with a BS in Consumer Economics from Purdue University and completed numerous professional certification courses in employee benefits, taxation and gerontology. Cindy’s husband is a recently retired tax attorney. They have two grown daughters in ad tech and data security and a great dog named Hunter.
