Jeannine has a long career in education and has recently returned to Pasadena after a prestigious career abroad. After graduating from University of California, San Diego, she went to Spain to learn Spanish and teach English. After nine years in the classroom, she spent 20 years in educational publishing including managing the editorial, production and manufacturing teams at Cambridge University Press. Jeannine spent six years as the Director of the American School of Las Palmas in the Canary Islands. She is currently the Program Director at the Pasadena Community Foundation. She has an extensive background of leadership and professional expertise in project management, team building and student success. Jeannine grew up in Pasadena and attended Blair High School and has two daughters who are bilingual and live in New York and Madrid. In her free time, Jeannine likes long-distance running, yoga, cooking, travel and spending time with family.
