I was raised in La Crescenta and hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Davis, a Master of Arts degree from California State University, Northridge, and a secondary teaching credential in mathematics from California State University, Los Angeles. I served as a mathematics educator for 35 years, primarily within the Glendale Unified School District.
Since retiring three years ago, I have dedicated my time to community service. I currently serve as President of the Rotary Club of Sierra Madre and as Vice-Chair of the Community Services Commission for the City of Sierra Madre. In addition, I volunteer weekly at the Helping Hands food pantry, and I remain actively engaged in my parish community at Saint Rita’s Catholic Church in Sierra Madre.
