Edgardo Gazcon is one of Latin America’s most prominent stars with an acting career that spans cinema, television and theatre. He is a third generation member of a family who has, for over 60 years, been dedicated to the film industry of Mexico. Upon completing his degree in communications at the University of Mexico City with a masters in Publicity and Public Relations, Mr. Gazcon was selected to enter the training center for the performing arts of Televisa, Mexico’s leading television conglomerate. Since completing his studies, Mr. Gazcon has starred in more than fifty films also co-starred twelve television soap operas taped in Mexico, Colombia and Puerto Rico which have achieved great popularity in Mexico, the United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia.
His success brought him to the United States where Mr. Gazcon utilizes his background in acting as the entertainment host on Univision morning show for 4 years and then on Telemundo Network national morning show for 7 years, expanding his talents in television production, advertising and media sales.
Since 2009 Edgardo Gazcon is been part of the entertainment /news show for Telemundo. ‘Acceso Total ’. Mr. Gazcon maintains residence in Los Angeles.
Edgardo Gazcon nacio en la Ciudad de Mexico y pertenece a la tercer generacion de una familia que se ha dedicado por mas de 60 anos a la industria cinematografica en Mexico. Desde niño, Edgardo Gazcon demostro que el talento corria por sus venas realizando pequenos personajes en diversas peliculas, sin embargo, es al finalizar sus estudios de Comunicacion en la Universidad Intercontinental de la Ciudad de Mexico donde fue seleccionado por la empresa Televisa ,alineandolo en sus filas y adiestrandolo para dar inicio a una carrera que abarca cine, teatro y television.
Edgardo Gazcon a lo largo de su carrera ha particpado en mas de 54 peliculas, llevando en la mayoria el rol protagonico y considerado como un exito en taquilla debido al exito de las mismas.
