Harvey-Williams has been serving as the PRCS director since 2018 and has held various positions with increasing levels of responsibility since joining the City as an intern in 1987. Before her promotion to director, Harvey-Williams worked in the public works and finance departments, as well as in the City Manager’s Office. She has served as finance and management services administrator, acting deputy finance director, administrative officer, principal consulting analyst, and management analyst. She has significant experience with and knowledge of the City’s capital improvement and operating budgets.
Harvey-Williams earned a master’s degree in public affairs from the University of Texas LBJ School of Public Affairs and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is an alumnus of Leadership Pasadena and member of the Pasadena chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and was a 24-year member of the American Public Works Association.
