Diego that her son, Jeff, and her daughter, Jeanette, were born. After leaving the Navy, the family moved to northern India where they were medical missionaries for two years.
Upon returning to the United States, Jill’s husband practiced in Redlands and then in Pasadena In 1981 Jill went back to teaching in the PUSD and earned her master’s degree in 1987. She spent most of her career at Jefferson Elementary School where she was a teacher, a curriculum resource teacher, a bilingual resource teacher and starting in 1995, a principal. She retired in 2008.
