Victoria Knapp is a native Pasadenan who moved with her husband and two sons to Altadena in 2011 in order to live in a quieter, smaller community that would allow for more hands-on community involvement. Victoria was elected to the Altadena Town Council in 2017 to represent census tract 4601, Chaired the Town Council’s Education Committee for two years, was elected to serve on the Town Council’s Executive Committee as Vice Chair in 2021 and as Chair in 2023 where she continues to serve.
Victoria actively volunteers her time as a staunch public school proponent. She served as PTA President at Altadena Arts Magnet and has been a parent ambassador at both Altadena Arts Magnet and Eliot Arts Magnet since 2017.
She holds an MA in Industrial Organization Psychology and her career, prior to becoming an at-home parent, was in the staffing industry. She was the Regional Vice President of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties for an accounting, finance and office administrative staffing firm, and ran the highest revenue generating and most profitable region in the country. She was awarded the prestigious RVP of the Year award for her exemplary performance and also served as a member of the executive committee. She transitioned from that role into a national role as VP of Operations, reporting directly to the COO and operated as his Chief of Staff.
