Councilmember Nic Arnzen was born and raised in Iowa farm country. He studied Theater and Business at Drake University before moving to Chicago to pursue acting. There he juggled doing film and television work, as well as voice-over jobs, while continuing his studies at the world famous Second City Theater. After adding the roles of director and producer to his resume he made his way to Hollywood where he continued his acting work on numerous films and TV shows including X-Men, Never Been Kissed, and a long stint on the daytime drama, Days of Our Lives.
Nic transitioned to being a full time dad but continues occasional acting and directing jobs as well as being the Program Director for a CDC accredited diabetes prevention program.
He has been a Councilmember in Altadena for nearly four years now and has a passion for community engagement and our residents health and well being.
