Terry Madigan has been a volunteer member of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association since 1993 and currently serves as the Association’s Executive Vice President. He will serve as the Association’s President for the 138th Rose Parade® and the 112th Rose Bowl Game® on January 1, 2027.

Terry was appointed a Committee Chair in 2010 and a Director in 2013. He has served as Chair for the Special Events, Host, Judging and Parade Operations committees. Terry served as Vice Chair for the Float Entries and Post Parade committees and as a committee member on Community Relations, Decorating Places, Equestrian, Formation, Parade Operations, Post Parade, and TV/Radio.

In addition to his work with the Tournament of Roses, Terry serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer for the San Gabriel Valley LGBTQ Center.

Terry is a retired Personal Chef and owner of Just No Thyme, a personal chef service. Before turning his passion for cooking into a full-time profession, he had a career in healthcare marketing and communications. Terry is a sixth-generation Californian and grew up in the San Gabriel Valley. He resides in South Pasadena with his husband, Kevin Sommerfield.

While attending South Pasadena High School, he operated the South Pasadena float in the Rose Parade, twice. Terry graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and journalism from the University of Southern California and later graduated from the California School of Culinary Arts with a Diplôme in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts.
