Brandon Shamim is an award-winning strategist, entrepreneur, coach and leadership lecturer. For over 20 years his career spans the globe- working with leading Fortune 500s, private businesses, public agencies, trade groups, universities, hospitals and nonprofits.

Having honed his talents in both the private and public sectors, Brandon has managed an independent management consulting firm; conducted public affairs at a market leading Fortune 100 financial services company; created issue campaigns at a national policy think tank and received a commendation as a U.S. Department of Commerce administrator at USC where he was responsible for $50M in capital assistance and procurement for 2000 privately owned businesses.

As a master collaborator and experienced social innovator, he has developed multi-sector efforts in regional economic and workforce development, social enterprises, energy, transportation, sustainability, and homeland security. He is co-leading a first ever regional consortium in California with 10 colleges and private industry to promote career pathways in global trade and logistics. He has designed entrepreneurial accelerators and start-up academies.

He is a lecturer for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program in conjunction with Babson College (#1 Entrepreneurship MBA in U.S) both in SoCal and nationally. Additionally, he has served as instructor for online, traditional and executive education in social innovation and organizational leadership.

Shamim has addressed over 5000 change makers at multiple industry groups, trade associations and is a sought after keynote presenter, conference moderator, and facilitator for board retreats. Outspoken about current affairs, he serves as a commentator he has appeared on CNN, NPR, Associated Press, Inc. Magazine and on web TV and blogs.

As a servant leader, he has served as an appointed LA City Commissioner, as well as on over 7 boards of nonprofits promoting jobs and the economy, education, public television, affordable housing, interfaith, and alumni relations. For over a decade, he has served on the board of directors and chair of the small business council for the Greater LA Chamber of Commerce.

Drawing upon his multi-faceted experiences, he coaches executives to business owners, social activists to elected officials; helping them create transformative change while enhancing their personal performance and unleashing their untapped potential.
