Workshops and activities will focus on STEAM education, arts and culture, life skills and healthy relationships, and leadership and civic engagement. By promoting assertive self-expression, teaching important life skills, and fostering the practice of leadership in a variety of settings, this unique and transformational pre-high school summer program inspires girls to reach their full potential. Every girl will receive a supply package to support their camp activities. Girls who complete their one-week session will receive a $50 gift card.
This year, in the YW Strive for Teens workshop series, girls will prepare for the future and deepen their leadership and digital skills, tools for success, and financial literacy through activities that value identity and diversity. The workshops will include diverse women guest speakers, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, career exploration, and connections to higher education. Campers that complete YW Strive will be awarded a Certificate of Completion in recognition of their pathways to success. |
