PEF Receives Junior League of Pasadena’s Community Impact Award

We are honored to receive recognition from the Junior League of Pasadena for our work to support our public schools with an eye towards equity and excellence.Patrick Conyers, PEF Executive Director

Pasadena Educational Foundation is the proud recipient of the Junior League of Pasadena’s 2022 Community Impact Award. This award is given to a Community Partner who has shown their dedication to the Pasadena community and is chosen by the Junior League’s Board of Directors. The award was announced at the Junior League’s Annual Meeting and Celebration that was held at Mijares Restaurant on May 24, 2022.

Pasadena Educational Foundation and Junior League of Pasadena have enjoyed a long and impactful partnership. Just over the last two years, many individual members of Junior League given their hands-on support to PEF at COVID response-related volunteer events.  And as a group, the League has worked directly with PEF to upgrade the garden at John Muir Early College Magnet High School… helping to create a more waterwise, native plant-filled outdoor classroom space. Having participated and supported PEF directly, the Junior League of Pasadena has assisted PEF in uplifting our community.

Thank you to the Junior League of Pasadena for recognizing and furthering our efforts to support our local public schools!
