Every Student. Every School. Every Day. DONATE!
Welcome to Our SummerWorks Portal
Thank you for your interest in working with us this summer!
Each summer we serve hundreds of students at multiple Pasadena Unified School District campuses. The success of this program is due in part to the wonderful, dedicated staff we work with each summer. Every staff person plays a critical role in the program, and we expect that you will provide a safe, fun, engaging, and high-quality experience for the students.
We are proud to offer a high-quality, low-cost option for summer learning in our community. In 2024, our program will be offered in June and July for 5 weeks, 4 days a week. Our main program is in the morning, and we have an afternoon program at most sites. Interested applicants should value the role of education in a young person’s life.
All paid summer staff must be 18+ years old as of May 1, 2024 and complete a background check. Click on a job below to learn more and apply:

The teachers are top notch and work really hard to make it fun and engaging.”
What They Are Saying
Coming Back!
“Absolutely coming back. I love having a morning-only program for the kids, where they can learn, but have a choice of fun, different interesting classes and the new afternoon option is fantastic for us working parents.”Sharon L.So Much Fun!
“She has so much fun and it keeps her brain working over the summer. We love the mix of fun and academic skill building, that they get to try three different things rather than a single focus, and the whole program is offered at a great price. Absolutely will come again next year.”James K.The mix of classes is exciting!
My daughter gets bored during the summer and there were so many fun options. She's already planning what classes she would like to take next year.”Marianne V.
