Mark Leavens has volunteered at the Tournament of Roses since 1995 and will serve as Its President in 2026. He will provide leadership for the 137th Rose Parade® and the 112th Rose Bowl Game® on January 1, 2026.
Leavens, experience with the Tournament of Roses includes being selected as a Chairman in 2010, appointed as a Director in 2013, and elected to the Executive Committee in 2017. His contributions include serving as a Regular Member and leading various committees, including Communications & Credentials, Float Entries, Formation Area, Music, Queen & Court, and Parade Operations.
Professionally, Leavens enjoyed a 34-year career with Nestle USA and held diverse management roles in Marketing Communications, Promotions, Event Management and Shopper Marketing. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Leavens has given time to community service, including coaching YMCA basketball and AYSO soccer, Chairing the Nestle United Way Campaign and serving on the Board for the Pasadena Optimist Club.
Leavens, a resident of Pasadena, grew up in Monrovia and attended Damien High School in La Verne. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Claremont McKenna College and received his MBA from the University of Redlands.
Mark and his wife Kay have three adult children: Katie, Ken and Melissa.
