Naz Sabripour, CEM, CVP, executive director of the Pasadena Convention Center, is a proud Iranian-American, born in Tehran where she lived for less than one year before her parents moved the family to the United States. Her father was finishing his undergraduate studies in Louisiana, and the family would plant roots in the South.
While Naz was at the University of Houston, where she received her undergraduate degree in marketing, she worked part-time in the promotions department of a local radio station, where she gained great experience and thought the work would open the path for other opportunities in the industry, specifically live events.
