Leigh and her husband Harry have a blended family with five boys ages 22-33. She has lived in the Pasadena and San Marino areas for the last 28 years.
She graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.S. in economics and has a post-graduate degree in design from the Art Institute of Atlanta. Before moving to Southern California in 1996, Leigh worked for The Coca-Cola Company, and was responsible for design of Atlanta headquarters and all field offices for 12 years. For the last 20 years, she has owned a graphic design business in Pasadena specializing in custom graphics and special events.
Leigh is a former Executive Board member of Kidspace Museum and past President of Kidspace Circle of Friends, and is active as a Trustee at the Pasadena Playhouse. She also chaired the Marketing committee and served on the LaSalle Board of Regents for 8 years.
Leigh and her family currently live in San Marino near the Huntington Library. She is humbled and grateful to be the principal for a day this year.
