Pasadena High School ‘24
When I graduated from Pasadena High School in 2024, I left trusting the future of student-led and community-informed change to younger Think-Tankers. I couldn’t be happier with where the PUSD Student Think Tank is today. Celebrating the launch of The Learning Curve: A Five-Year Anthology (TLC), is a testament to the resilience of the Pasadena community—specifically the youth. In a climate where student power is called into question, and youth are told they have no place in leading the change our world so desperately needs, the Student Think Tank is the embodiment of our resilient youth.
On December 15, 2023, my essay, The Necessity of Student Voice, marking the urgency of creating a structure for student presence at the PUSD board level was published on PEF’s Blog. A month ago as a rising college junior, I was delighted to read excerpts of my essay that’s now available in the Student Think Tank’s printed anthology, The Learning Curve, at Octavia’s Bookshelf.
