Wonderful surprises don’t come along every day.
Pasadena Educational Foundation was honored to receive a $10,000 grant from the Junior League of Pasadena as part of the organization’s centennial celebration. The grant will help support PEF’s work on behalf of Pasadena Unified students and families, and serves as a meaningful investment in educational opportunities across our community.
The recognition felt especially meaningful because of the connection between our organizations through Joan Fauvre, PEF’s first Executive Director and a former President of the Junior League of Pasadena. “Learning about Joan Fauvre’s leadership of both organizations made this grant feel even more special,” said NC Inguanzo, Director of Community Engagement for Pasadena Educational Foundation. “Her legacy is a reminder that lasting community impact is built through service, relationships, and a commitment to future generations. It’s inspiring to see those same values reflected in the Junior League’s support of local nonprofits today.”
As the Junior League of Pasadena celebrates 100 years of service, PEF extends its heartfelt congratulations and gratitude. We are proud to share this connection and wish the organization continued success in its second century of strengthening the Greater Pasadena community.
