For more than 50 years, the Pasadena Educational Foundation has stood with the Pasadena Unified School District—through earlier periods of budget reductions, through the pandemic, and now as our community continues to recover from the Eaton Fire. In every chapter, our commitment has remained the same: to strengthen learning experiences for students and to help schools navigate challenging moments with collaboration, resourcefulness, and dedication.
As PUSD works through this difficult budget year, PEF is here to support the district and our schools as needs and opportunities become clearer. We will continue to prioritize investments that directly enhance students’ day-to-day experiences.

Our community came together in extraordinary ways after the Eaton Fire! The Pasadena Educational Foundation, in partnership with PUSD and with support from individuals, businesses, and national partners, has already distributed more than $7.4 million to our PUSD community for relief and recovery support—and that number continues to grow.

Madison’s Model for Care:
Where Families and Schools Work Hand in Hand
At Madison Elementary, families and educators work together to ensure every child feels supported and prepared to learn. With weekend food programs, on-site dental care, and free laundry services, the school removes daily barriers for students and strengthens a culture built on care, collaboration, and belonging. PEF is proud to support Madison as it continues building this connected, student-centered community.
