PEF and the Eaton Fire Collaboratory: A Space for Hope and Healing

“As an Altadenan and fire survivor, I know how much this space means to our community. The Collaboratory is more than a building; it is a promise that we will walk beside one another through recovery. I am proud to see so many partners coming together to lift up families and strengthen our community.”NC Inguanzo, Community Engagement Manager
The Pasadena Educational Foundation is proud to be one of more than 200 local organizations that make up the Eaton Fire Collaborative (EFC), a network united by care, service, and the shared goal of long-term recovery. Formed in the aftermath of the devastating Eaton Fire, the Collaborative brings together nonprofits, faith groups, government agencies, and community leaders to help families, schools, and neighborhoods heal and rebuild.

This week’s grand opening of the Eaton Fire Collaborative hub space marks a powerful new step forward. Located in Altadena at 540 W. Woodbury Road, the Collaboratory will serve as a central space where survivors can access critical recovery resources, meet with case managers, connect with mental health and housing support, and find guidance on their path to rebuilding. It is also a place for collaboration where partners like PEF can continue to coordinate efforts that directly support students and families most impacted by the fire.

As a proud member of the EFC, Pasadena Educational Foundation remains committed to helping ensure that education is part of the recovery story. Working alongside our community partners, we are focused on creating opportunities that help children and families regain a sense of stability, connection, and hope for the future.
