The Los Angeles Chargers showed their community spirit by donating hundreds of tickets to families impacted by the LA fires, and among the recipients were Pasadena’s own student-athletes.
Through the Pasadena Educational Foundation’s Eaton Fire Response efforts, PEF received 200 game tickets and 50 parking passes for the Chargers’ matchup against the New Orleans Saints. A portion of these went to the Pasadena High School and John Muir High School football programs, giving players and coaches a memorable kickoff to their season.
Students and administrators from both schools enjoyed an unforgettable night at SoFi Stadium, cheering as the Chargers defeated the Saints 27 to 13. The Pasadena Educational Foundation and PUSD athletic community extend their heartfelt thanks to the Chargers for supporting local youth and celebrating the spirit of teamwork both on and off the field.
