Congratulations to 2024 Summer Youth Leader & Intern Award Recipients

To extend its heartfelt gratitude to over 80 high school and college students who participated in the 2024 Summer Enrichment Program as Youth Leaders and Interns, the Pasadena Educational Foundation held a celebratory ice cream social for its summer program volunteers at Handel’s Ice Cream. All participants were commended and thanked for serving our community well.

These dedicated volunteers collectively contributed thousands of hours to support PEF’s summer enrichment classes. Their mentorship and enthusiasm significantly enhanced the learning of younger students and the program’s overall impact. While many of these outstanding students are expected to return next summer, those moving on to new endeavors were wished the best in their future pursuits. The work skills acquired during their service will undoubtedly prepare them both professionally and personally.

At this festive summer gathering, Pasadena Educational Foundation recognized the exceptional contributions of its 2024 award recipients, as selected by teachers and staff at each school site.
