This holiday season, the Pasadena Educational Foundation (PEF) has brought joy and reinforced community through offering holiday support to Families in Transition (FIT) and Pasadena Altadena Coalition of Transformative Leaders (PACTL). Through providing practical help to families in need, PEF has worked with these partners to strengthen community bonds and create a brighter future for all of our community’s children.
Beyond its regular educational equity initiatives, PEF aligned its seasonal efforts to provide direct, tangible assistance to FIT and PACTL holiday programs, both of which address the critical needs of local families. The spirit of the season took the form of funds for winter coats, shoes, educational materials, and household requirements, as well as donated gifts for children of all ages. PEF sought to directly help those navigating homelessness and recent immigrants by supporting these organizations for the holidays,
This intentional holiday support is not only about giving; it’s about ensuring that the essence of the season reaches every family in our community.
