Teacher Grant Workshop Helps Prepare Teachers

The Teacher Grant program is one of PEF’s signature programs that has supported PUSD teachers and administrators for 50 years. The goal of our Teacher Grant Program is to help inspirational educators throughout Pasadena Unified School District take their creative projects from idea to reality by providing resources to enhance the classroom experience for their students.

On September 14, 2021, PEF hosted its Teacher Grant workshop via zoom.  The workshop offered an overview of the program, eligibility, guidelines, how to apply, and the selection process.  In addition, during the workshop those in attendance received grant writing tips from PEF’s Grant Director, David Spiro.

The end of the workshop was dedicated to answering questions about specific projects. In the past grant subject areas have included literacy/reading, math, science, computer science, engineering, sports and athletics, visual arts, music, theater, history/social science, dual language immersion, and special education.
The deadline to apply is October 8. A recording of the workshop is available at http://pased.org/tgworkshop Apply Now!
