New this year to the My Masterpieces program is a pilot project with Descanso Gardens for the 3rd graders. Students were engaged, prepared, and excited to be outside on the beautiful grounds. They explored and observed a local oak grove as a scientist, and then went into the art gallery to view artwork before becoming an artist to create their own sculpture.
