We look forward to your participation in the 2017 PEF Summer Enrichment Program!

Below are a few important details to note prior to the start of the program:


Attention: 

In your schedule letter, you may notice that Block A (if the student is enrolled for three classes), has a time frame of 9:00am – 12pm. Please note that this is an error and that Block A will run from 8:00 am – 9:15 am as the program begins at 8am. Thank you, we look forward to seeing you and your child in just a few days.

En su carta de horario, usted puede notar que el Bloque A (si el estudiante está matriculado para tres clases), tiene un horario de 9:00 am - 12pm. Tenga en cuenta que se trata de un error y que el Bloque A se toma a cabo de las 8:00 am - 9:15 am, así como el programa comienza a las 8am. First Day Check In: Look for our PEF table located under the pergola in the middle of the campus towards the south side. The nearest entrance is from Valley View Ave. Please check-in and pick-up your child’s name tag.

Tuition Balance:

If you have an outstanding balance this must be paid no later than June 7th.

Classes:

Any class changes will be made on the second day of program after you notify staff at the Don Benito office. If you do not see the class choices you made, that is because a class was no longer available.

Drop Off:

  • Classes begin promptly at 8:00 AM each morning, and no supervised childcare is available prior to 8:00 AM.
  • Intro to Kinder and First grade students must be walked to their class.   
  • Students in grades 2-6 may be dropped off in the summer carpool lane off of Valley View Ave. and should proceed directly to their Block A class, or they may be walked to class.  Please make sure children are prepared to exit on the right side of the car with their belongings.

Pick Up:

  • The carpool lane will be available off of Valley View, the same as drop off. Please do not block sidewalks or streets while waiting.
  • Families with multiple students in both our Introduction classes and 2-6 grade classes should plan to walk-in and pick up both students from the Introduction to Kinder or First grade classrooms.
  • If your child is enrolled in the YMCA aftercare option, they will be walked to the cafeteria to have lunch and join that program.

Dress Code: Children should be dressed in comfortable and appropriate summer attire. No open-toed shoes.

Behavior: Children will be expected to demonstrate good behavior.  Children who continually disrupt the classroom or prevent other children from learning will be dismissed from the Summer Enrichment Program and NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE.

Breakfast, Snack, and Lunch:  Breakfast and lunch are available to ALL students by PUSD. Students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Snack is not provided to students, but if you plan to bring one please be advised that this is a peanut-free campus.
