EVERY STUDENT. EVERY SCHOOL. EVERY DAY.
At the Pasadena Educational Foundation we believe strong schools build strong communities. For more than 45 years, we have been committed to building dynamic community partnerships to support our public schools. Being a vital part of our community enables us to provide essential resources and enrichment opportunities to every public school student in Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre.
Every day we are inspired by the creativity and innovation we see in our public school classrooms. Whether it be through the arts, music, health centers, gardens, or STEM programs we support, we are creating a better future for our students and for our community.

Spotlights On Our Work
Summer Enrichment Program
Create. Explore. Learn.
Celebrating 15 years of providing our community’s children an exciting summer opportunity to create, explore, and learn. Through a unique mix of academic subjects combined with hands on activities our students can learn to cook, explore a new language, build a rocket, write a play, program a robot, learn tennis, design with 3D printers, and so much more!
My Masterpieces: Discovery Art in My Community
Leading 9,000 students on a cultural journey through our vibrant arts institutions
My Masterpieces takes full advantage of Pasadena’s remarkable cultural resources to deliver a diverse and comprehensive visual arts curriculum. The award-winning program serves every K-6 student in PUSD, providing community-based arts learning opportunities by linking arts-integrated classroom lessons taught by PUSD teachers with a related field trip component led by staff or docents from the partnering museums and visual arts institutions.
Teacher & School Grants
Taking creative classroom projects from idea to reality
PEF Teacher Grants help inspirational teachers throughout PUSD take their creative projects from idea to reality by providing resources to enhance the classroom experience for their students. The grants, provided directly to the teachers, benefit thousands of students in Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre. This year we awarded more than $200,000 in grants to PUSD teachers and principals.
