Principal for a Day: Metta Dollar
Workforce Planning Director Parsons

Metta Terada Dollar is currently the Director of Workforce Planning at Parsons Corporation with responsibilities for corporate relocation and mobilization of employees to domestic and international assignments.  She also oversees recruitment and retention of early career professionals for all of domestic and North American operations and conducts workforce forecasting and alignment of talent for redeployment opportunities.  Metta lived and worked for Parsons abroad in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan where she led recruiting and staffing initiatives for their East Asia market.

Metta has 23 years of experience in human resources management, staffing and talent acquisitions and holds a Bachelor’s degree from George Mason University and a Master’s of Science in Human Resources Management from American University in Washington, D.C.  Her industry experience has been focused in the engineering field which allows her to promote a corporate partnership role with educational institutions so students may explore career options in architecture, engineering, construction management and information systems related fields.  Her passions include continuous learning and mentoring younger students with the goal of developing marketable job skills.
