Principal: Ms. Frances Weissenberger

Development with an emphasis in Special Education, a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development at California State University, Los Angeles, and a Master’s Degree and Administrative Credential at California State University, Northridge.  She also received her Reading Certificate and Reading Specialist Credential at University of California, Los Angeles.  She has worked as an  adjunct professor at Mount Saint Mary’s College and for 26 years she  worked for Los Angeles Unified School District as a Teacher, Literacy Coach , Elementary Literacy Content Expert and  a Literacy Specialist.

Hamilton is a 2008 California Distinguished School and in 2009 was awarded the coveted National Blue Ribbon.  The teachers and support staff at Hamilton Elementary is committed to ensuring that each student is challenged, nurtured and is provided a safe learning experience. Our vision at Hamilton is to create lifelong learners, while providing an atmosphere where everyone is treated with respect and opportunities are provided for all our students.  Our Math/Science/Technology Academy has continued to provide students with a stronger and deeper foundation in these areas.

Principal for a Day: Robert Chanpong
Vice President - Wealth Management Advisor Merrill Lynch

Robert Chanpong has worked as a Wealth Management Advisor in Pasadena for the last 13 years, joining Merrill Lynch in the year 2000. He is a CFP� certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Robert graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration - double emphasis on Finance and Real Estate, and a minor in economics.

Robert serves on the Board of Directors of the Pasadena Educational Foundation.  He has also served on the board of the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis of America.

Currently, Robert resides in Pasadena with his wife and two young boys.
