Principal: Dr. Caroline Bermudez

Caroline Bermudez is in her 20th year as principal of Ben Franklin Elementary.  She taught at the elementary, middle and high school level.  Prior to being appointed principal at Franklin, Caroline was assistant principal at Wilson Middle School in the Pasadena Unified School District. Caroline received her undergraduate degrees from Cal State Fullerton and attended graduate school at Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Los Angeles and the University of Southern California.

Enrichment Programs include: Performing arts; Physical Education; Violin for 5th Grade; Tutoring 1 hour, three days a week; PEF Summer Enrichment program serving 300 students each summer.

I'm a partner at Hahn & Hahn LLP in Pasadena and specialize in trusts and estates.  I've been there for 33 years.  I graduated from USC Law School in 1978.  My husband is a physician specializing in emergency medicine.

I'm 67 years old, live in Sierra Madre and I’m married and have two sons ages 28 and 30.  I have one granddaughter so far.  My children attended La Canada schools through junior high at which time we moved from there to Sierra Madre and they finished school at La Salle High School. One son graduated from Arizona State University and the other from Loyola Marymount.
